Canvas Wall Art at Adore the Decor
Canvas brings color and subject to a wall without the glare of glass. This collection includes hand painted abstract canvases in light brown, black and silver floater frames, framed country and farmhouse scenes, coastal and botanical prints, and seasonal pieces for autumn, harvest and the winter holidays. Many designs come as sets of two or three for a coordinated look.
Choose art about two-thirds the width of the sofa or console below it. Compare framed wall art, abstract wall art and landscape wall art for more options.

How to size and hang canvas art
Scale and height are what make wall art look settled in a room.
- Above furniture: art should span roughly two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.
- Gap above furniture: leave 6 to 10 inches between the top of the furniture and the bottom of the frame.
- Eye level: on an open wall, center the art about 57 to 60 inches from the floor.
- Sets of two or three: keep 2 to 3 inches between pieces so they read as one composition.
Floater frames leave a small gap around the canvas edge, giving the piece a finished look without covering the painting. Keep canvas out of strong direct sun and away from bathroom steam to protect the colors. Seasonal art is easy to rotate if you keep the same hanging points; swap a fall harvest scene for a winter one on the same nail.
